Clean Energy Technology Lab ()


Laboratory Introduction

The Clean Energy Technology Lab is developing nano-structured materials used for storage/separation of gas molecules, energy conversion and storage, various chemical engineering, fine chemical industry, and environmental fields. In particular, through the improvement of the synthesis method, zeolites having a high surface area and hydrothermal stability, and the catalyst prepared therefrom has excellent performance as a catalyst in an automotive exhaust emission control. Research is also underway to improve the physicochemical performance of nano-structured materials and to control properties to be used as adsorbents and separators for moisture or hydrocarbons. In addition, it is trying to develop a catalyst with a new structure or function by studying the structural determination for inorganic and microporous material using X-ray diffraction, X-Ray absorption fine structure, etc.
